Hunger in his belly or in the ring are two total different enemies rummy.. the latter seems quite impossible to me.. lol
Yeah I didn't think you were comparing them in regards to talent levels. As you say it's just that we have a potentially competitive division again. Joshua is the top dog right now but he is not head and shoulders above everyone else. I think Wilder and Parker will be competitive against him and Fury has the potential to beat him if he can get back to anything like his old self.
That's basically my thoughts as well, while I was trying to explain that the fight could possibly go either way for those very reasons, on several threads for pages on end, the Brit fans refuse to see it. What a shock.
If we 90's up the modern era it would look something like this - Bowe - Fury Bruno - Joshua Tommy Morrison - Wilder Michael Moorer - Parker Mercer- Povetkin John Ruiz - W.Klitschko There are no Tyson's , Holyfields , or Lennox's of this era.
People underrate furys power aswell he may not be the biggest puncher in the divison but he carries real power in those fists he has loads of knock outs aswell
Tyson Fury is (was) leaps and bounds ahead of Joshua, Wilder, even Ortiz. He honestly was an anomaly. As big as he was, he should've been an absolutely clumsy oafish specimen, not a quick handed boxer puncher that could fight off the backfoot as easily as the front foot. I don't see him getting to that form again however, he blew his load as far as keeping himself in semi-optimal condition.
Fury....and I haven’t even watched the video yet. Tyson may not look the part, but he plays the role of the best heavyweight extremely well. I’m hopeful his comeback sees Fury regain control of the division and that his hiatus was productive
