Good video Rums. The Whale and the Stiff One can't beat Wilder doe imo. I do think that if Fury can get back to where he was, the hvw division with those 3 and Parker could bring back the heavies again.
Why no Parker? He's as eligible to be on there as Wilder at the moment. I think he'd beat Wilder's ass frankly, and give Joshua a better than expected fight. Anyway, the correct answer is Fury if we see no diminution of his skills in his comeback. Since that's highly unlikely then Joshua takes the spot. He's crude and powerful but learning on the job and a lot better than I initially thought. He doesn't possess that next level boxing brain that Fury does, but he's a tip top athlete who takes his job seriously and fights with the discipline and consistency befitting a world champ. That'll be enough in this era.
Agree fully with you on Joshua vs Wilder. Joshua is the more well rounded fighter with more tools and experience of elite level comp (Wlad) and thus should be favored, but you can never count somebody with the reach and explosiveness of Wilder out. That right could turn the fight on its head at any given moment. I also doubt very much that we'll ever see a particularly useful version of Fury again, so we'll never know if he could rule supreme.
Fury Wilder Joshua Parker Thats on a h2h basis. Joshua is more refined than Wilder , but he's too slow and too stiff to overcome Wilders athleticism . If Wilder gets him in the ring soon he'll put him to sleep. Why? Wlad flattened him with a right hand. 3 years earlier Wlad couldn't land a right hand on the rudimentary Brian Jennings. Wilder has a rangier , faster right hand and will let it go more often. 255 pound Joshua can't get out of the way from those type of punches. There good reason why Fast Eddie wants absolutely no part of that fight.
Another thing that makes me favor Joshua over Wilder is that Wilder is such a poor finisher. He caught Stiverne with a beauty of a right, but then he just whaled away. And that's how his finishing has looked the other times I've seen as well. I don't think that will cut it with Joshua. He might hurt him with that right, but then he have to do much better in terms of finishing than he has so far, imo.
I know what you mean. I was thinking about the ankles being stressed. Still no denying that Fury looks good
Win or lose, I doubt that he would beat both in the same night. I would have favoured the Fury who beat Wlad to frustrate and beat Joshua. Thats not taking anything from Joshua but think Fury has an awkward style that troubles many HWs
I would put any amount of money on it BC Joshua DOESNT have to be patient if he doesn't want to be.You also have to take into account the first power shot that lands flush on Wilder is most likely the last one.
I dont disagree that Joshua can end a fight with one punch like I dont doubt Wilder can either, but that doesnt mean that would always happen. Joshua seemed to be pushed back and troubled by Wladimirs jab (which is a very good jab). I think Fury with his movement would cause Joshua problems
Wilder is a bum and hasn't done anything Fury is the king in comeback. AJ is the current best...but Fury will deal with him next year WAR FURY
Joshua style isn't out jabbing someone,he fought Klitchko fight and still held his own. He will look at Wilder like a lion looks at prey BC he won't be in a 19th fight against TRUE proven fighter and dominant one with great ring IQ. Joshua is going to clean knockout Wilder fast...watch.
