Mitchell is too smart to get tied up in a Klitschko contract right now.

He'll bide his time, and when the time is right, Volodymyr will get cracked, just wait.

 

Given the current landscape, he has no choice but to start giving out second thrashings, seeing as how Povetkin won't fight him, and Haye is going to fight VItali (hopefully).

Thompson is a mandatory, so he has no choice, either. Its not like he wants Thompson over everyone else out there..............Fight him and get it over with and move on to teh next decent contender who may offer Wlad an interesting test.............

Helenius, Povetkin, or Haye..........those three are about all there is left that would be interesting.........for EITHER brother.

 

If Wlad boxes in shorter succession then I don't mind him boxing guys like Thompson, even more so if he's a mandatory. Hope Wlad stays free of injuries from hereon and can fight 3 times per year.

The only Wlad fight I want to see is against Arreola. It might look like a mismatch, but Cris will push the action and make a fight out of it. We haven't had an entertaining heavyweight title fight in years.
