Joshua took harder punches in that round than Wilder did vs Ortiz in the 7th
Wladimir is a harder puncher than Ortiz by far, Joshua actually leant into some Wlad bombs in that round and didn't go down, Wilder was hugging and holding on for dear life after getting punches by 2 or 3 really solid shots.

Wlad was hurt and sloppily swinging for the fences, AJ was rolling with and slipping a few, then the next round AJ took one flush right and went down like a sack of crap. Got back up and avoided getting hit with anything else flush.

Deontay got hammered repeatedly in the face with straight lefts, and was out on is feet for the last minute, but never went down.

Yes, finally someone who agrees that Wlad's punches hit harder. That shot in the 6th round that Wlad threw to put AJ down is something Wilder and Ortiz could only dream of pulling off...

Joshua has fine chin, but that knockdown in the 6th was sweet. I thought AJ won't get up from that.

I believe Joshua could have stayed on his feet after that right hand from Klit, you see after Klit hit him with that right he got wobbled badly but didn't look like going down for the first second, then as Klitschko charged in with his hook, Joshua tried to duck under it causing him to go down, I reckon if Joshua stayed on his feet he would have been stopped because that right hand clearly wobbled him badly, so it actually worked in his favor that he went down. if Wilder was hit with that right he'd be 10 feet underground now.

That right hand Joshua took was harder than anything Ortiz hit Wilder with that's for sure. Joshua took some other hard shots off Wlad that were just as good as that left hand that wobbled Wilder too.

For me right know, Joshua has shown a better chin. But it's really irrelevant both have the power to KO each other if they land flush and can follow it up.

Joshua/Wilder won't come down to who can take a better punch or even who it's hardest, it will come down to who can apply that power more effectively and consistently and for me that's clearly Joshua which is why Joshua has KO'ed both Gavern and Molina faster than Wilder could.

Wilder took a Nichols check jab flush to the chin and got up.

Fair point mate, didn't consider that one, that settles the debate.

He was floored by a jab? Yeah, I just looked it up. He went down from a jab that had a lot of weight behind it. Probably balance had to do more with it than impact. While was sparring with my Aunt's husband who boasted that nobody had ever managed to put him down I carefully watched the position of his feet and once he stood squared up in front of me, I put all my weight into my jab and down he went landing on his ass. More lack of balance than anything else.

Mate, you need to stop alright? Don't make fun of the legend that is Nichols, all fun and games now, but you wouldn't want that collossal check jab on your chin. Can be arranged if you keep making fun of the Worm.

Joshua clearly holds a shot better than Wilder. Wilder panics and holds on for dear life. Joshua came back firing and took far harder shots than Wilder did. The shot that put him down was a monster - he went down from the sheer momentum. He was up straight away and not flopping all around the ring like Wilder was. No question Joshua has a better chin and it's not even close.

I am not familiar with the dude bloke. First time I set eyes on him. I thought he was some unknown journeyman.
My apologies if he is family or friend. However mate, you need to stop trying to intimate by threatening people with violence. Attacking people for expressing an opinion can lead to consequences which are very disagreeable for everyone involved.

Hmmm interesting, just looking at both the videos, I can see that Joshua's a stiffer fighter than I thought. Almost like a bodybuilder would move, with little mobility whatsoever. One right hand from the devastating bronze bomber and fight would be over in the first round. Please Deontay make the fight, bring those titles back to Alabama!

Maybe Wilder was simply off balance? I knocked a sparring partner on his ass once with a jab and poor balance was the reason.
