Thanks! Hmm, I have just under 60 fights now... Yeah, but I think I should learn a little more inside fighting, so I could punch when he gets close, instead of just clinching or holding. But all in all I l'm an outside fighter, like to move, let them come and counter. Could get some more snap and explosion in my punches. That really impressed me with your fights. Very explosive. I should also throw more combinations. Well, well... I felt really tired and was happy with my performance. No excuses. Thank you. :good
Yeah good analysis of your own style. You look very competant but lack that explosiveness and change of pace, get that and your well on your way to a good little career there. Well done mate def got a future in the spor.t
i ve got a vid of me boxing in youtube. how to put a vid here? btw its not a very good fight, i lost at the beginning of the second round.
Just copy and paste the link or tell me how to find it. If you don't mind I will add it to the sticky thread as well.
Ok; so this isn't actually me, it's a friend of mine in the red; but it was so good that I thought it should be posted. I'm doing commentary, along with Amy and another one of our team mates. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMdb6XedXag
This one I assume? Which one are you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAPoJ8ouIhI This is the sticky: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=160912
unfortunately the guy in red. after over one year without training i hit the gym for two weeks just to feel better and get in shape. i sparred some of the competitive boxers and was able to deal with them. im still a bitangry with my coach but mostly with myself to accept this fight against the not very experienced(8-1) but hardpunching local area feather champ although i knew i was out of shape (plus smoking 20+ cigarettes a day).
I'm a bit of a technophobe so I haven't got much in the way of footage, but there is a clip of one of my old fighters on youtube (he no longer competes, just trains, which is a damn shame as he could go far). The clip is only very short, but you kinda get the message... You will have to excuse the poor quality as the clip was taken on a friends camera phone (who was very drunk at the time!!), and as it was a fair few years ago, the quality is very, very poor.
