I completely forgot about this fight. Will have to see if i can find it online somewehre.

I like Skelteon. He can smother his own work at times and that can lead to a dull fight but he works hard and is one of the genuinely nice guys in boxing.

    Hope he wins.

Any word on how Skelton's training camp has been going?

Kind of 50/50 fight, but I give Vidoz a very slight edge.

The legendary Farmboxer, I've heard so much about you. Thank you for gracing my thread with your presence. They tell me that you are the most legendary poster on ESB. Are you giving the edge to Vidoz based on activity, skills and polish, or something else?

When Vidoz is at his very best, he has skills. So, it all depends on which Vidoz shows up. If he is at his best, he can win this fight. He is better than he looks, but has never really shown his full potential. He can win this fight, it's within his reach, but he can't make mistakes, will have had to have had a good training camp, be at his very best. Still, he could lose this fight, but like I said, I give him a very slight edge. I have seen him show skills in the past, but a fighter can lose it all at any time, so I would not bet on this fight, not even one penny.

    Skelton's weighed in at 250, Vidoz 238.

Good weight for both guys. Vidoz had bloated up to 250 for his July fight against Samil Sam, while it looks like a long lay-off hasn't adversely affected Skelton as he's weighed in about 5 less than against Chagaev.

    Very close fight to call.
I like Skelton, maybe more as a person than a fighter. Vidoz is a good boxer though so Matt will have to put a lot of pressure on...that'll be the key.

I'll give Skelton my patriotic vote.

Vidoz got jobbed against Sam. He clearly dominated that fight with the jab. Some inside sources on here suggest that Vidoz may not be in great shape for this, but the lower weight is an encouragement.

Vidoz is the more skilled of the two, but if Skelton can make it a brawl, he has a solid chance.

I'll still take Vidoz by decision especially considering it's in Italy.

It is a HUGE factor, it really is. If Skelton outworks Vidoz the way I belive him to do, then it will be a MD, SD for Vidoz or a draw. So, my pick is Vidoz by a close decision.

If it would be in UK I would defenetly pick Skelton.

Anyway... It will a close fight. It can´t be a good fight, cos Skelton is fighting :smoke But still a nice match-up!

I can't help it, I really am looking forward to this fight. It will be a grueling affair, with ugly styles, but I want to see it.
