    [/SIZE] Top 10 pound-for-pound
    1. Manny Pacquiao (junior lightweight, 45-3-2, 35 KOs): Although not on Oscar De La Hoya's level at the box office, he's now the guy everyone targets for the big payday.
    2. Floyd Mayweather Jr. (welterweight, 38-0, 24 KOs): He'll beat Ricky Hatton the way he beat De La Hoya — with defense. Yawn.
    3. Miguel Cotto (welterweight, 31-0, 25 KOs): Stock clearly on the rise after brilliant performance against Shane Mosley.
    4. Joe Calzaghe (super middleweight, 44-0, 32 KOs): Seeking super fight vs. Bernard Hopkins at light heavyweight.
    5. Juan Díaz (lightweight, 33-0, 17 KOs): Still waiting to see him in mega bout, but what's not to like about this Houstonian?
    6. Juan Manuel Márquez (junior lightweight, 48-3-1, 35 KOs): Is rematch with Pacquiao next?
    7. Kelly Pavlik (middleweight, 32-0, 29 KOs): Rematch with Jermain Taylor set for Feb. 16 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
    8. Ricky Hatton (welterweight, 43-0, 31 KOs): It'll be interesting to see how he handles Mayweather on Dec. 8.
    9. Bernard Hopkins (light heavyweight, 48-4-1, 32 KOs): May have found a new home at light heavy. Showdown with Calzaghe would be huge.
    10. Wladimir Klitschko (heavyweight, 49-3, 44 KOs): Will seek to unify title against WBO champ Sultan Ibragimov on Feb. 23 at Madison Square Garden.

Obviously a bias texan. He has juan diaz at a mindboggling fifth. The top 10 period would make me laugh, but 5.:nut

Juan Diaz and Kelly Pavlik are worthy of top 12 status. And there is a great case to be made for Cotto being above Hopkins, Hatton, and Marquez.

According to various ESB posters at times all of those on this list are either shot, bums or should retire anyway.

    Exactly.

It's a decent list IMO - Cotto is a bit high but that's it.

Klitschko at #10 is VERY justified - he's probably one of the most dominant forces in any weightclass at the moment. Can you really see any HWs beating him? He's trashed all his recent comp, and his losses are pretty far behind him now.

Shitting me.....Juan Diaz and Kelly Pavlik are top 20, but top ten they are not. Cotto beat a past prime Mosley and an erratic Judah(his only noteworthy wins in 31 fights) and you put him over Hopkins and Marquez who have been fighting fellow champions for years, and Hatton who was the true 140 champ while Cotto was racking up meaningless WBO defenses. This is my pound for pound list......agree, disagree, It couldnt matter anyless to me.

    1)Floyd Mayweather
    2)Manny Pacquaio
    3)Joe Calzaghe
    4)Bernard Hopkins
    5)Ricky Hatton
    6)Israel Vasquez
    7)Juan Manuel Marquez
    8)Rafael Marquez
    9)Miguel Cotto
    10)Winky Wright
