    Blonde was from Invergordon

Burton was in gueer street after the first 30 seconds, can honestly say i never seen a fighter fight with chicken legs as long as he did......didnt even move his head the whole fight.

Then did a mental chicken walk to his corner though he seemed ok the 30 seconds before........was pretty strange tbh.

Andy Young gave a fine boxing lesson, kept it simple....he is very accurate and i was wondering why he wasnt hooking to head but as he said.......no need....the jab and straight hand was working just fine.

He then switched downstairs......dropping the boy twice in the third via bodyshots.

The fourth round started as the third did.......bodyshots.......opponent spat his shield.

    Game over.

Traynor looked pretty good, a straight right.....a peach too dropping his opponent in the second.

He then finished it off with feinting a left hook to body then following through with a right hand......reminded me of Wayne Alexander actually.

Gary Cornish dealt with his opponent with ease......as others have mentioned previously.....he dosent seem to stamp his authority with his jab.....though i get the impression he is just having fun so to speak.......very relaxed/at ease........but once he opens them up he then gets busy.....overall.....a sound composed effort/win.

Tbh, i think he is just getting the rounds in regarding experience and his opponent tonight was pretty slippery.......constantly grabbing and is renowned for being hardy.

McAllister was blowing after five rounds, his movement stopped and tbh.....how the hell does anyone deal with the Russian........truly something.

After the third round he had his hands down totally at ease and i loved how he stepped right after the jab.....usually with an uppercut........guys a nightmare.

    Off topic.......bumped into Alba.......eating a cheeseburger.

Also bumped into wee GPater, truly sound kid.....was a bit gutted he lost in the Ams in Edinburgh today as he mentioned but anyways, cool kid.

Spoke with Colin McNeill.....seems oks.....didnt realise he was working Micalef's corner.....and Woodhall passed me by and missed getting his picture with me.

Security was quality.......people were helping themselves to cigs via the fire exits

Anyways......all good.........we had a fair entourage.....though of all the shows i been to, beit abroad or over here........i never experienced an atmosphere quite like tonight.

    Burns/Gomez perhaps.

    :thumbsup

PS. That Dickinsons took a pretty healthy support.......and i must admit......they was all looking hella prepped.

Cant say i rate the Dickinson who fought Burton.......i mean that with the utmost respect of course.

Though it wasnt easy looking good against Burton.......dont understand Burton......dosent add up.......shot ?

    Apologies for ma pedalo's Kos.

I never really rated Jon-Lewis TBH, although his Prizefighter win (a tournament that was made for him with his am experience, in hindsight) certainly made me assess him better than what I initially perceived.

Travis is the one I've been banging on about for the last three or so years, and he got himself a career-best victory tonight - especially when you take into account the manner in which he won :yep

As for Burton, the weight drop might have had an adverse effect on him. It was always going to be a risky move for a man his size to drop so much weight and still be as good/better for it. The initial signs were good, but to be stopped like he did against a light puncher tonight shows the move down was not the best idea. He only got stopped at heavy due to exhaustion, so I've never seen/heard of any problems from him taking a shot before. Just my thoughts on it.

Ayes man i hear ya, i basically decided that he was avoided given he had a ton of 4 rounders and presumed he was down in weight as he was capeable........and Dickinson having had a shaky jaw even though he went 10 rounds last time out...........made me assume Burton might handle this.

I had other reasons though i have forgot.......and yeah i actually did come up with the formula around the 2-3 minute mark.

Gonna stick to posting accordians and highland cows i think...........and given cheekyvids vcashtotal.......am surprised he aint in......or has been asked.

Though when i decided on being captain on the opening day......i presumed he would be in........no option.

Sounds like a right good night and turn out HH, pity Lee couldnt get on the backfoot and box the russians head off but I think most of us knew it was a big ask. Lets hope Burns can lift the spirits!

Ayes it was pretty sound, though when i bought a sprite......i had to put it in a plastic cup..........even though ya couldnt leave the bar area/room......bit strange.

I actually thought they pulled McAllister out............till i just watched it here.

Ayes looking forward to Burns/Moses.....never been to Braehead i dont think.

Was a good night like, I walked in literally just as Mathew McAllister KO'd his guy. Idid see the punch though. Haha.

Atmosphere was mental, and it was honestly amazing to see how fast the fans just turned after the fighter, there was some booing and the place emptied, it was just a disappointing ending.

I actually thought McAllister was boxing alright, kept a nice jab and picked some nice uppercuts, but he needed to be first more but when he did he was good. Another thing I liked he wasnt his super bouncy self that would have caused him to burn out, he looked measured, just a disappointing ending like.

Was sound bumping into HH, had a wee staredown as he walked past, I was like looks familar, is it HH and he was the same, so we was like aright pal. Had a quick wee chat like. HH was proper scoused up like.

    How did Traynor get on?

EDIT: Sorry, just saw what you wrote. Hope the guy does well, met him a few times through mutual friends and out and about, seems like a good guy (although if you met him, you wouldnt peg him as being a pro boxer )

Just needed a curly perm and a mouser and youd have been 100% scouse.

    Calm Down

Aye thats what he needed to do, he shoulda been getting off first aswell though, cause it was working. Shafikov looked good though, would make for an exciting fight with an aggressive guy

The burgers were **** as well
