Views on Gary Stretch the boxer

    how good do you reckon he was. would he be a world champ nowadays. he boxed in a really tough time.

    He might have picked a belt at 154, but it would have to have been a bit of a "soft" one TBH. No where near strong enough to compete at 160.

    I think he was high class, possibly world belt holder nowdays.
    He was really good in 'Dead Mans Shoes'...one of my favourite films ;)

    gary stretch was a good level british/european level fighter but would always be falling just short at world level
