Briggs has an interesting two rounds ... Vitali has not fought a big man with any serious speed and power in ages ... if Briggs is in the best shape possible (doubtful) and lands early as he did v.s. Lewis (ages ago) he has the legit power to make it interesting ... Briggs is the most dangerous two round opponent Vitali has fought since Sanders...after two rounds, unless lightning strikes, Vitali takes him apart in about five or so ..

I'm not sure Vitali takes anyone apart in five anymore.

March 8th first-meetings in superfights between two ATG Heavyweights, which end up having a legendary trilogy together?

Not a bad matchup as briggs at least has the power to potentially hurt klit and with the other prima donnas in the division like haye and valuev always asking for MORE the choices are limited unfortunately

the way i see it. right now the fight means nothing. briggs hasnt earned it and there are much better boxers out there.

that being said all the history books will show is they are the same age and briggs is coming off a bunch of first round kayoes.

i expect it to be a win which grows with time.

As is often the case the truth is somewhere near the middle of a wide range of views. Many here are running Briggs into the ground just to discredit Vitali. Sure there may be more deserving fighters out there who deserve a title shot, like Haye or Povetkin or even Valuev. But you can't blame Vitali (or the other brother) if they don't want to fight them !

Both of these men are close in age. SB is a very big HW with lots of power... and he has shown in the past that he can carry that power late. Yes he has stamina issues. Like Vitali, who has been injured in the ring, he’s human. If this is anywhere near as good as Vitali-Sanders, it will be an entertaining fight.

Regardless of how the fight unfolds, the haters will say it was boring or some other nonsense if Vitali wins.

Briggs gets destroyed, even if Vitali slips considerably
