Vijender Singh Beniwal is a 6'0 29 year old Middleweight with a 6-0 6 KO record. Born in Kaluwas, Bhiwani, Haryana, India located in The Indus Valley. Vijender is the winner of multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze medals from the various Tournaments he's participated in over the years dating back to the mid 90's as a teen. Vijender is a Bollywood star in the making starring in the hit film Fugly, he's a judge on MTV India's Roadies X2, he's worked as a male model, he's been a host on The Contender India, and he's appear on the Indian version of Dancing With The Stars all of this before he's even turned pro, so if he's a success at Boxing we're looking at India's first Boxing Megastar. Oh I almost forgot after the 2012 Olympics the Punjab Police conducted a raid on a residence and car in the name of Vijender's wife and seized 26 kilograms of heroin and various other drugs worth around 20 Million US Dollars:shock: But since it was out of competition he got off scot free. He also really really hates that cricket is the biggest sport in India and is doing his best to change that by finally turning pro at the ripe old age of 29. Regardless he's a fairly skilled fighter with fast hands, decent footwork and good left hooks and overhand rights, although he's a bit wild and might get KTFO so hopefully his chin with hold up as a pro. A Cold Wind Blows From The Indus Valley, Prepare Yourselves for the coming of Vijender.:toney:toney:toney:toney

Athletic competition is not in their culture. If they had an autocratic government like China, they could choose peasants from the country side and turn them in to athletes without much protest from their families...BUT they don't. China also has this same problem believe it or not, athletic competitions are not one of their concerns, but they create athletes through government intervention, (choosing properly from a population of over a billion.)
