My mate is the sport ****yst for the Indian amateur boxing team and I heard from him that Vijender was not as good as before and lost motivation. I like the guy and I'm supposed to, since we are from the same nation, but he isnt beating anyone at elite level. But this will be a big breakthrough if he can bring some light on Pro boxing in India
29 is ok.. turning pro late is easier for lighter fighters.. they just don't have the longer careers like the heavier weights.. or the unlimited fighters.
He can still have a 15 year career.. or close to it.. 29/30 is ok for the lighter weights.. most can't do Foreman's off the bat though. It's Harder @ Heavyweight because of.. they just have an unlimited career. Well.. it's always limited to 20+ years.
