I am a huge fan of both amateur and pro boxing. In addition, as the son of an Indian immigrant here in the United States, I began following the Indian Boxing team over the years. India rarely has much of a sporting tradition outside of cricket. However, after the success of Vijender Singh at the 2008 Olympics, amateur boxing has really exploded in India. Since then, they've had quite a few standout boxers. One of them being Vikas Krishan, who won bronze at the world championships in the 69kg category. He's more famous probably for an overturned Olympic decision that was made in favor of American Errol Spence. Since then, Spence has gone on to begin a promising professional career. Just curious, for any interested in viewing his fights....what do you all think of his skills? Could they translate to the pro ranks at some point? He seems to be overly defensive in his approach. However, having a good defense to me is paramount. In addition, he's very tricky with his movement and punches. Below I am posting a couple links to his WC fights: 2011 QF: youtube......./watch?v=DoHgDcelSco 2011 SF: youtube........./watch?v=Z8P6mIx2CqQ
