Kessler is the better fighter for sure! But i`ve learned never to count Froch out before the final bell, the guy really means buisness when he is in the ring!
Its gonna be a intertaining fight

It sure will , im not saying Froch definetley wins but this is in a sense his easiest fight , Speedsters trouble Froch , guys who move and give angles. These are not things Kessler does.

Assuming Froch can live with Kesslers right hands ( by no means certain ) then the Viking will find himself in big trouble.

Equally Froch loves eating right hands and he's facing a guy with a belter of a right so it could be an easy night for Kessler.

This is gonna be good !

Well aparently Kessler has been sparring MW Patrick Reinhard Nielsen, SMW Lolenga Mock, some Russian MW and another foreign fighter I can't get the name of. Gotta say I don't like the sound of this.

Darren Barker ( Brit Middle ) has worked with them both and reckons there is nothing in it.

(he picked Froch to win based on his awkwardness over Kesslers straight lines but then Froch and Barker are stablemates so he might be a bit biased )

I don't get it? What do you mean by this?

I know for sure that he has been sparring Patrick and Mock. The Russian MW I got from a poster on this page and I have no idea as to who his last sparring partner is.

Sorry British phrase , means they are ( in his opinion anyway ) very evenly matched , similar speed , power , natural strength etc.

I would say that Kessler has Froch beat on speed and footwork. They are evenly matched in power and Froch has an edge in natural strength. However Froch has some untangibles about him that are hard to define.

That's besides the point though. If Kessler has not had proper sparring then I think he's in trouble. Especially if he's been sparring mostly middleweights. Froch's gonna impose his will if that's the case.

Yeah Kessler moves better I assumed Barker meant hand speed coz Froch moves like he has a flat tyre !

I understand why that would concern you but as a Froch fan it actually concerns me ! If Kessler fights like Kessler usually does I fancy Froch. However if Kess is sparring middles to improve his speed and movement then that is IMO the absolute right thing to do to beat Froch. if he goes right at Froch he is playing Carls game, If he has taken the lesson of Direll and Taylor Carl could have his hands full !

Haven't thought of it that way. Good point. I naturally assumed that he should spar someone ala Froch to get ready for him, but you are making a lot os sense. I do still think he should have one big brawler to spar with and Mock doesn't cut the mustard.

    Yeah that has merit too

Mock put David Haye on his backside tho ( not that Haye is Jake La Motta )

I remember an interview with Kessler when he said he doesnt spar hard because he feels it wears the body out , just uses it for technique I think.

    As a Kessler fan I wouldnt worry . he'll be ready !
