Leif Larsen vs Kevin Johnson...possible for March 2013...!!! May take place in either Texas or in Norway. who wins, and how???
It won't take place in Norway, seeing as professional boxing is banned here. If there is any truth to this, kind of a strange choice of an opponent for Team Larsen. Kevin Johnson is a very good defensive fighter with a good chin, very difficult to knock out. That being said, Leif Larsen wins by late TKO :deal
We were informed that the Christian Democratic Party is actively engaging in rules and regulations [for pro boxing in Norway] that would overrule the ban, and that they want Larsen to headline the 1st major card. If not, then the fight goes to Texas (HOMECOMING FIGHT for Larsen). 1st pro fight in like 32 years in Norway--I believe.
But would he try? Because trying is an enormous factor in the outcome of a fight. Almost as big as skill level.
If there's a TKO, it's the other way around. There's no chance in hell Johnson get's stopped. That being said, it should be an interesting fight.
Larsen via Legal Manslaughter. Larsen is the most scary guy we've ever seen in the HW division... Makes Tyson looks like Paulie Malignaggi.
Larsen is for real. The obvious became apparent when Solis pulled the plug on a fight with him. Now, if Larsen KOs Johnson, it will send some serious repercussions throughout the division given that both Vitali and Fury had failed to stop Kingpin.
Leif Larsen has greater 1 punch KO power than both Vitali and Fury, Fury is featherfisted and throws mostly armpunches. I don't think Johnson will be able to withstand the punishment and power of Larsen for 10-12 rounds. He probably won't get knocked the ****ed out, but I wouldn't be suprised if he quit on his stool or if the ref stops it late in the fight.
:deal Larsen would annihilate Johnson. FACTS about Leif Larsen: He has a shot put personal best of 18.76m, and finished 4th at the 1994 World Junior Championships, He won several US state titles in both javelin and shot put, and won the Norwegian national title in discus, He was Norwegian national judo champion He played for Buffalo Bills in the NFL, and was chosen 5 picks ahead of Tom Brady in the 2000 Draft, He benched 225lbs 45 times, and also benched 670 lbs with no lifting aids, just 45lbs away from the world record, He left this bloke unconscious for 15 minutes: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrsOTYI_JLs[/ame] 7. He floored Danny Williams with a slap, 8. He is 16-0 with 13 KO wins, 9. He has performed to a high standard in chess, 10. He is the TWBA world heavyweight champion. :happy Terrific news, I congratulate the Christian Democrats. A great time for the Norwegian people.
This. The guy's power is off the scale. Only David Price and Lucas Browne come close in today's HW division.
