    Taylor was ranked 96th best fighter in the world by The Ring Magazine last year in their end of year annual Ranking the 100 Best Fighters in the Game. FTR, Jeffrey Horn was #98 lol and Linares was 17 lol

    Taylor is just one of those up-and-coming fighters who spectacularly passes the eye-test. Who he's beat so far is almost irrelevant...

    Postol got dropped x 2 in his last fight by a 14-0 fight novice I've never heard of before. The guy had literally fought nothing but bums but not only did he drop Postol x 2, one of said KD's was a very heavy one and Postol was in bad shape and on very wobbly legs when he hauled his ass back up from it. In fact, he was clearly a clean punch or two from getting KTFO.

    Jesus Christ I fancied a good Josh T highlight video to see the fuss but found one full of British stoppages, rabbit punches, wresting, hitting your opponent while down or when the ref already stepped in. :lol:

    when and where is Rodrigo going to fight again.

    and his brother Victor, what's up with him? is he still fighting. He was a good amateur, but hasn't done much in the pros.

    The odds might be a little wide with the British bookmakers given the calibre of Postol (disclaimer, I haven't seen his last fight, so that may shed some light on it), but Taylor is a very special talent who is going places. The 140 division is not particularly strong at the moment and he could clean up.

    Actually yesterday I watched a couple of recent youtube videos of Postal talking and he actually... I don't know how better to put it... He sounded like he almost completely lost confidence in himself... So, he's been preparing really hard for this fight, he has an experienced trainer (whose experience is mostly in amateur boxing, though) but he's not in the optimal state of mind... Not in the worst, don't get me wrong, but not in the best either.
    Having said that, I still think that chances of the upset are not that low.
