    he won the first 8 rounds and ran out of gas.

    he tried to make the weight amidst the holiday season and he paid dearly for it.

    he should move up to 112 now.

    Edit: What a time for that division though. Viloria takes the belt from Solis, a guy most figured would beat Calderon. THEN Viloria drops the belt in a barnburner. Kind of makes what Calderon has done look a lot more impressive.

    Terrible news. Just when it seemed Brian had turned things around in his career, too.

    I hope everything's ok, and he will turn out healthy and able to lead a normal life. Word is, he's suffering from some 'tightness' of the head and spasms in his neck. He may not be be out of the woods yet.
