    What a shite thread .

No one had him in the top 5 or anything, so some of you are chatting ****. And those that did have him in top 10, had him in the lower parts of it or just outside. Viloria is an excellent fighter and was enjoying a great run until last night. But losses happen, man. That doesn't all of a sudden dismiss all of the good things before it.

wtf? what has pacquiao got to do with viloria stopping segura and marquez to unify two belts?

viloria was red hot and was a huge favourite for a reason, people respected the run of form he was on and the talent he displayed in those fights. yes he lost but that doesn't re-write history.

guys work their way to a high rating which they hold onto until they lose, this is nothing new.

the question you have to ask is "given that run of form, was he amongst the top 10 in the world" and the answer is "you know what, he could well be"

obviously noone will have him there now, but that doesn't mean he hadn't earnt his 5 minutes of fame.

**** knows what pac or donaire have to do with anything though.

This just shows the recent opinion here that the people who hate Pacquiao are hating on any Filipino fighter holds true.

He, and those like him, are of the assumption that because Viloria and Donaire are of the same background as Pac, that they would both have the same following. So, any Filipino that comes through now -- regardless of who he is or how good he is -- will automatically be an extension of Pac; providing for a good reason to dislike him and wish for his downfall. And if you happen to like any of these Filipino fighters, you're immediately assumed to be a Filipino midget and a *******.

This is from a group of fans that have a habit of crying racism when they feel a black fighter isn't getting the props he deserves. Please note there I said "group". Meaning not "all". So don't get offended.

And I'm wishing for that to happen, now. I was supporting Rigo at first, but seeing all this undue hate towards Donaire mainly because he's a Filipino, is making me secretly root for him.

you ***s are acting like I said Viloria isn't a good fighter (my exact words int he initial post were: "He's an exciting little guy and a good fighter").

The others bitching like Slugger, the affliction wearing butthurt clown of the century, are mad cause they think I offended Pacquiao

and then there's the Filipino's who only like Filipino fighters.

I think Donaire is gonna KO Rigo and have stated that many times but man am i hoping for Rigo to pull the upset it would be hilarious.

I hate when that type of thing happens. ESB can wield great influence if you let it.

He threw plenty of punches, but the younger, bigger guy overwhelmed him down the stretch. It's no shame, this Estrada is 5 times better than Segura, who was Ring p4p himself.

Who rated this guy P4P? He's a lazy fighter who goes through spurts of nothing that make him one of the most frustrating fighters to watch.
