Thais are not great anymore.Japan the king of boxing in the region. Also they are improving in all sport’s fields.Basketball, socc3r, boxing and many more. Its a sports renaissance!
It was a big surprise for me because SarawutThawornkham is a really great pressure fighter ! But yeah Thailand's declined in boxing at 105 lbs it's the Filipino now, I make a thread on the forum about that. Currently Thailand have two world champions Thanongsak Simsri (IBF) 108 lbs and Panya Pradabsri (WBC) 108 lbs.
Unfortunately Kosei Tanaka is retired. But maybe we can hope for Vince Paras vs Artem Dalakian both beats Sarawut Thawornkham. But the most possible next for Vince Paras is to be against the winner Andrew Moloney / Jorge Artes vs Willibaldo Garcia for the IBF Belt in Super Flyweight.
