TLDR: 20 year old kid from Germany. 21 fights, 19KOs, 1 loss. Highly entertaining style .

From Continental Europe to Siberia we are used to boxers marinating in the amateurs until their late 20ies. Golovkin, Kovalev, Beterbiev and Usyk all had a huge amateur experience before taking the plane to the US. Not so with Vincent Feigenbutz - he fought his first pro match at age 16 in Germany. Why start so early? Feigenbutz style more or less says it all.

Feigenbutz is about offense. He is young, highly athletic and with a very good boxer's body. The money shot is his overhand right which has one hit KO power. But he is patient and does not waste energy pounding away like David Lemieux for example. He fights in bursts. Distance control is very good and he creeps forward and cuts the ring in a manner remiscent of Golovkin. Balance is quite ok despite him swinging away like a neanderthal at times.

Defense is however somewhat suspect. His head is made of concrete but I fear for his long term health as his chin is the last ditch defense. His one loss came already in his second match as he walked into a bomb and faced a TKO.

I sincerely wish this kid gets a good trainer that can also keep him away from out-of-ring issues. This kid has out-of-ring issues all over his face. Just look at the guy. That could also be the reason they have been keeping him so active - nine fights in 2014 alone (!). At the age of 19! In Germany! Could it be that Feigenbutz is just like young Tyson? He will fight anyway so it might as well be in the ring?

Vincent Feigenbutz is a highly interesting prospect, but he is way to raw for for the lower rungs of the top 10 RING list. Sorry - just forget it. There only one younger than 25 on that list is Gilberto Ramirez, the rest is around 30. Feigenbutz really need to polish his game quite a bit more before trying on some of these guys.

Vincent Feigenbutz is a 20 year old Super Middleweight with a 20-1 19 KO's 1KO loss record. He was born, raised and fights out of Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He started boxing at the young age of 16 and was KO'd in his second match hopefully no one will hold that against him, due to the fact that he was very young. The hilariously and unfortunately named Feigenbutz is still obviously a work in progress, but since he turned pro he has a remarkable 19 wins by KO with only one of his fights going the distance and it was a brief 6 rounder. He still has a ton of flaws that a better trainer could patch up like his horribly leaky defense, but he hits like a German Panzer, which is always a plus when it comes to getting fans interested. How far will he go remains a big question mark, but if he can improve his flaws and even though he's already ranking fairly high at SMW, not be thrown in there with a tough opponent just yet this exciting good looking kid could a Star Germany sorely needs to replace the fading Icons of the past decade. So Check Out Vinnie Feigenbutz This Kid is a Munster..

No. I just lack a sense of humor. Maybe should have written something else.

Vincent Feigenbutz - the IKEA version of ....?
Vincent Feigenbutz - disaster waiting to happen?
etc etc feel free to come up with something better.

I guess the point I was trying to make was that Feigenbutz will get exposed against most (but not all) top 10 super middle weights. I hope they keep him out of those fights until he is ready. NB. He will have Felix Sturm for lunch if they fight in 2016.
