    Tszyu was under prepared going into the Phillips fight and has gone kn record many times claiming it was one of the best things that could happen to him in terms of proper preparation for fights. If I'm correct I'm almost positive I've seen interviews where he said he was ill going into the fight and underestimated Philips.

    Tszyu is so overlooked by the slick and black community. I remember being permanently banned from a forum run by some joke called Ron Heard years back because he as all the yanks where doing was claiming Judah would walk through Tszyu. I claimed otherwise, broke the fight down, day after the fight banned...

    I love upsets :deal

    This was an action packed fight .

    Phillips had a helluva right hand .

    Tszyu just came up short that night , Phillips rise to the occasion, surprised Tszyu and took him out .

    Btw Phillips was cut badly himself , you left that out .

    The last I saw of Phillips was the last 3 rnds of his fight against Soto-karass .

    He got beatdown and his corner stopped the fight .

    It was a hell of a fight. Both guys traded power punches and neither looked hurt until the 10th and finally Tzyu took one too many, got stunned and the fight was over.
    A rematch would have great. I'm GUESSING Phillips said no to an immediate rematch so in retaliation Tyzu refused a rematch when Phillips wanted one later on, seems a common story.
