Hey, Russ. Are You uploading those fights yourself, maybe? I'm curious about how this site - archive - works and what could be found on there. Only came across it with your posts. Thanks.
Yes I'm uploading them... The Archive is a site designed for the long term archival of all forms of media, usually of the obscure and not readily available variety... whether it be book, film or sporting event. I've never run into an issue with copyright in several years using the site which is a big plus. Traffic is great too as long as you share your links where they'll get attention. As far as I know no one else is really using it for boxing but my hand has kind of been forced after losing years of hard work at a time when my Youtube channels get deleted so I've branched out.
I have the same story, yeah... some "Insert insulting word in plural form" - were throwing copyright complains at me and then after the 3-rd warning I think it was all gone. Quality looks good, for the period of history it comes from! This Archive is an interesting project - and thanks for Your work.
Youtube has a "three strikes" policy that is pretty concrete... It's driven away dozens of great collectors for sure.. And thank you, I appreciate that! I very much enjoy sharing what I have. I'm not big time/notable collector or anything but I've scraped together a few good fights over the years.
