    Fenech often gets sold short, but agree with the posts above that this is a bridge too far for him. Saldivar sometimes ceded a few early rounds and Fenech usually came out of the gate storming, so he might nick an early lead. But Saldivar is one of the few guys who can match him for intensity and strength on the inside, was the better body puncher and in the few moments (won't be many, granted) where there's any kind of distance or range between them, also had the superior jab. He was a smarter fighter than Fenech.

    Saldivar takes over after six rounds or so. Fenech never stops coming but gets broken down and stopped late.
