There’s a great YouTube channel, Vintage Boxing, that is consistently uploading classic fights in great quality or at least in the best quality I’ve found available for those fights. Alexis Arguello-Alfredo Escalera 1 and 2, two of my favourite ever fights, have just been uploaded in the last 24 hours. Neither of those fights, particularly the second one, has ever been available in particularly good quality but these are the best treatments of them I’ve seen so far. I guess there’s only so much you can do with dodgy source material but this guy has certainly delivered them in better quality than I’ve seen before. Very happy. No idea if the guy who’s uploading them (who I think is from the UK) posts here but anyone who loves classic fights - presumably everyone on this forum - should check it out.
Cheers for the collective heads up. Such channels are priceless and, as we know, they don’t all last forever - snooze and you may well lose, as they say.
