Would love to Jeff but much as I'm fond of Blackpool I'll be sunning myself somewhere a bit warmer then! Will add watching you fight live during 2008 to my New Year's Resolutions though - will be worth it just to see you make your entrance to the 'Heartbeat' theme tune! :thumbsup
Buddy Holly isn't it? Heartbeat - why do you miss when my baby kisses me, la la la la la Will really get the crowd going and do wonders for your street cred! :smile
The Lads (Sam), Mike has moved back to London to be with his girlfriend and give up the idea to fight again, which I personally feel is the best option. He was one of the best fighters ever from England - never mind Manchester - and it would have been a shame to watch him try and capture what he used to have , he was already on the slide when he officially retired. STEVE WOOD
Stegsie - any news on Jamie Moore? Just wondering if he has had his shoulder operation yet and how long is he likely to be out for? Really hope his luck changes for the better during 2008.
For the best really. Hope he made enough from the sport to support him and his family for the future.
Without being bias VIP shows are always good value for money. Their fighters are always evenly matched, and when you've got guys like Alex Matvienko, Mark Thompson, Michale Gomez, Jamie Moore, Brian Roser & Martin Murray (to name but a few) its pretty much nailed down that theres going to be excitment along the way.
The Blackpool bill has received some good publicity 'Local boxers look to light up the tower' on SecondsOut.com. :good
I love it... I'm back. Looks like I'm fighting Baz Carey in a rematch for those interested. No slip ups this time- I've said it on here before about that fight and i'll prove it on the 16th.
