ROSE VERSUS WEBB FREE ON TV! Brian Roses British light-middleweight title defence against Sam Webb at the Blackpool Winter Gardens on Friday December 14, and its accompanying quality undercard, was always worthy of TV coverage and now gets it, after broadcaster Loaded TV stepped in to support the VIP Promotions Fighting for Keeps card. VIP Promotions are pleased to announce then that Rose versus Webb will be FREE to view on the new Loaded TV channel available on SKY platform channel 200. The contest will be shown at 9.30pm and, therefore, anyone who isnt able to make the Winter Gardens can now watch, what promises to be a potential fight of the year, for FREE. Im absolutely delighted that Loaded TV are supporting British boxing and have decided to broadcast this British title fight, enthused promoter Steve Wood. Brians fight with Sam has all the hallmarks of a fight of the year. The undercard is also absolutely top notch, and this was always a show that boxing fans should have been able to see on TV. Rose and Webb are both skillful boxers; they dont like each other so its a grudge match; neither are one punch finishers so there will be plenty of action, and Brian says hell stop Webb while Sam is very confident of causing an upset. This is going to be a terrific contest. The undercard is also first rate and the fighters on it are all worthy of TV exposure. Weve got Prizefighter winner Terry Flannigan; undefeated prospect Jack Arnfield; exciting puncher Mark Thompson, and lots more. Brians also got some stars coming along to support him including the Blackpool FC team and MMA legend Rampage Jackson! Im really proud of the show were putting on. VIP Promotions have always been about giving fans great fights and value for money, and its really rewarding that Loaded TV are supporting us. For anybody that still wants to come and see the show live and experience the atmosphere there are still some tickets left, and fans are also all invited to the weigh in and press conference for the show. Please note: The public weigh-in will be held at 2pm on Thursday December 13 at the Winter Gardens, with a following press conference to be held at Blackpools G Casino at 4pm. Fighting for Keeps will be at the Blackpool Winter Gardens on Friday December 14. Headlining will be hometown fighter Brian Rose defending his British light-middleweight title against Londoner Sam Webb. The quality undercard includes Blackpools Jack Arnfield; Manchesters Terry Flannigan; Lancasters Tomi Tatham; Southports Scott Moonan; Heywoods Mark Thompson; Chorleys Jack Caterall, and Lancashires Isaac Lowe. It's not free. Sky is a subscription service. It shows how much boxing TV coverage has declined over the past 15 years when people are expected to get excited over boxing being shown on an obscure pay TV channel. Loaded TV isn't available on Virgin so it's not even like everyone who pays gets to watch this.
But there are plenty of channels you can watch through your Sky box without needing a Sky subscription / Sky viewing card. Is Loaded TV one of them?
This shows how far Maloney has fallen. There are a ton of pisspot channels but nearly all will be better than loaded tv, I'd love to know the financial details of this cos with ESPNs renewed interest in the sport they should have been an option.
Yes. But generally you wouldn't get a Sky box unless you wanted to subscribe to Sky. And buying the box/getting a satellite installed costs loads if you don't want to subscribe.
