KARL PLACE Suffered his first defeat in 16 fights when he was stopped on his feet by Steve Williams . The game plan to out box his opponent for 4 rounds before taking it to him was ruined when a good shot from Williams was followed by a head clash which took Karls legs from him . This left him pinned on the ropes , Karl did try to move away but the legs were not functioning with his brain and the referee jumped in with a perfect stoppage. He will be back !! RICK GODDING Out boxed Vinny Woolford who was coming in confident after a 3 fight winning run to move to 14-0 with a classy display which shown he is ready to be tested against the likes of Denton Vassal and Colin Lynnes , we would take either and expect a victory . NICK QUIGLEY Bounced back from his loss in the Prize-Fighter final to beat Dee Mitchell in a fight that could have been in a phone box and left the referee with no work to do . Nick dominated the contest with a great work rate to win 60-54 moving to 10-1 and closing in on a CA title shot. CARL DILKS Came back from a long time out to shake off the rust and beat Simeon Cover on points , Dilksy will now back in Liverpool on the 21st July in a local derby against his mate Joe Ainscough . JON KAYS Failed to get up for the fight with Pavel Senkov and paid the price with a draw . Jon will now box in the new year for the English title against Ben Jones when hopefully we should see a vast improvement and a belt round his waist.
