19th MARCH AT WIGAN – Can supporters please note this event will now start at 6.00pm with doors opening at 5.30pm and not the 7.00pm as printed on the tickets. This is due to the event changing into a SKY show and to ensure that all the 11 fights happen.

JON KAYS - Is flying and really looking forward to his Commonwealth title challenge against Liam Walsh which tops the above bill at Wigan.

RICK GODDINS – Makes another move forward to join the list of Welterweight contenders this Saturday when he does 8 rounds against Barry Jones.

KENNY ANDERSON – Is now a promotional free agent after Hatton Promotions opted to exercise their right to terminate his contract if he suffered a defeat . Kenny will next box in Edinburgh on the 29th April and hopes to defend his Celtic title.

TONY QUIGLEY – Has withdrawn from the Prizefighter after a poor performance last Friday , it seems the efforts to get in peak condition following many operations over the last 12 months was just a bit too much too soon – he will now be back out in May.

CARL DILCS - Is still in next week’s Super-Middleweight Prizefighter and hopes to get revenge from his efforts in the Light Heavyweight one where he was declared the winner of his semi-final only to have the result changed later in the dressing room. With it being in Liverpool it is an extra incentive.

NEW SHOWS - Shows for May at Leigh Sports village and the George Carnell centre will be announced next week

DEBUTANTS – Following first time out wins for Stevie Taylor , Aaron Michael JNR and John Quigley another 2 new debutants will be added onto our Hull show on the 28th April , all to be revealed next week.

Thanks Stegsie. Do you know if the Godding fight going to be shown on Sky, or is it dependent on the Walsh-Kays fight ending early? Really liked the look of him when he beat Haywood.

Stegs, why did Goddings refuse to fight Dean Byrne?

Would have been a great scrap!

Not sure I can go into details but they were bang out of order in my opinion. Their loss. Steve Woods gain.

Hopefully Kenny gets an opportunity at a title in the near future.

Sometimes I think VIP can hold fighters back a bit too much rather than sticking them in - though I'm pleased to see them working with Warren this weekend rather than exclusively with Maloney.

That said, good to see Goddings getting a step up in class.
