STEPHEN FOSTER JNR – Suffered only his 2nd defeat of his 26 fight career on Saturday when he was beaten on points by Alex Arthur in an great effort for the WBO interim world Super-Featherweight title. Even though it was a loss, the manner of the defeat - which was very close – will have wiped away the doubts over Stephen which surrounded his other loss to Derry Mathews. After the fight Alex was quoted in the Scottish Sunday mail that Stephen ‘ could not break an egg’ , so we went home and watched the replay of the referee knocking Arthur through the ropes in the 11TH round and sending him into a 15 second break-dance.

MICHEAL GOMEZ – Starts back training today since taking a break to get married after his last fight which was a loss to Carl Johansson for the British title fight. Mike is still looking to become a champion again and after another win would be happy to challenge for the British again or even go back to Scotland to prove that his KO win over Alex Arthur was no fluke

JOLLY BOYS 2008 – A sell out 900 dinners will watch the 4 following fights this Sunday at the DeVere white in Bolton which will also show the Man Utd v Everton game , have top comedian Venn Tracey and the VIP legendry dance girls - pictures will follow on

Each boxer will pick 6 out of 8 disciplines that will include a Bike Race , Weights ,Dips and Squats , Football/Basketball ,Archery and running

2008 – This will be a big year for the VIP prospects and they will need to step to the plate during the year to prove they can become champions . The support of VIP Promotions will be invaluable and it will start with 3 shows in February and March at Blackpool (Feb 16th) , Liverpool and Colne – further details will be announced on next weeks gossip with news on signings and a TV deal.

lol- should be fun he's already told me that he was going to smash my head in :rofl ... he's proper crazy but in a good way theres not many who get to train with one of their favourite fighters and I've always been a massive Gomez fan.... I'm so chuffed, I'm not tied to any promoter but my next fight is on your show at blackpool I believe. I've gotsome serious learning and improving to do but i'm definately in the rigt place.
