Fully expect Ajose to blast this Candel guy in a round or two. Presumably another fight to adjust to the weight. Flourney Ashworth could be an interesting little scrap. Ashworth picked upa D against mattvienko last time out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0nCrwDzTvc not too good a vid of him but he is pretty decent and can punch quite sharply.
Its a strange one, isnt it? But Olu has always said his boy is avoided like the plague, & I tend to believe him. looking at what a highly touted prospect Foulkes did with Reid, i.e ran & stole a decision & had the crowd booing their disgust, whereas Ajose stood in front of Reid & put on a show, hitting Reid with every punch in the book & only failing to stop him cos Reid put in a superhuman effort tells me that Olusegun is THE hot prospect, but hes being failed by his promotional team. Lets just hope Olusegun gets a big fight soon, cos Olu has turned me into a bit of a fan, & I want to see Ajose against some good opposition sooner rather than later.
Once again you are correct gaz. Theres no getting away from it, its an awful fight for a prospect like Olusegun. Backwards step is an understtement.
Did you see his fight with Christian Laight Terry? Twas on the undercard of Haye Abdoul - now that was a bizzare performance. Really wiered defensive moves etc... As for Olusugen. I thought he'd do much better than he did against Reid, especially considering his team have been shouting for a fight against Witter for the WBC, and also slating Hatton. Would anyone see Reid getting out of the early rounds against Ricky? I suppose it was a case of getting down to weight, and subsequently feeling strong there for Ajose. Nice to see him keeping busy but he needs something to happen for him.
