VIP Fighters sold out Wigan last Friday evening and came through unbeaten in another great night of boxing

JAMIE MOORE – Retained his British title with a 11th round stoppage of the awkward Andrew Facey in what proved to be a testing contest as expected. It will have done Jamie no harm as he tuned up for his next fight ,which will be for the European title.

MARK THOMPSON – Won a tough 8 round battle against French man Frank Horta who shown why he had never been stopped taking every punch of Mark and just coming back for more , it will be interesting to see if any other welterweight prospects bring him back over. It was a hard fought win and will have helped educate Mark for his future British title eliminator challenge.

MARK MORAN - Moved to 7 unbeaten with a win over Gavin Reid who came to fight and made it a great fight to watch , the quality of the home fighter proved decisive as Mark picked and mixed his punches up very well.

MARTIN MURRAY – Shown why many people believe he is one of the best prospects in the country with a 1 round stoppage of Phil Nicholson

CARL DILCS - Gained his first stoppage win with a TKO in round 4 over Lee Nicholson who came to fight but was outclassed and was stopped in the last round after visiting the canvas 2 times.

JACK ARNFIELD - A very impressive debut for the 18year old who stopped the normally durable Louise Byrne in the first round. Jack showed maturity above his years with a great variety of punches landing before the stoppage. which maybe was a little premature.
