VIP start the New Year with 6 fighters in action this Saturday

TERRY FLANNIGAN – Was gutted to hear that opponent Ian Napa had pulled out with the flue for their planned showdown at Doncaster this Saturday . However is pleased that replacement Najah Ali who comes in on a win over Najah Ali will also be a tough test as Terry plans to march to titles in 2011.

JOSH WARRINTON – Finished sparring on Sunday with 8 hard rounds against Jamie McDonnell who is defending his European title on the Doncaster bill . Josh has also sparred Terry Flannigan and Jamie Dickens in the run up to this fight and expects to impress against Steve Gethin .

TOMMY COYLE – Is out again quickly following his victory on the VIP Jolly boys XMAS event and boxes journeyman Johnny Greaves . Tommy will then be stepped up in April when he will top a bill in his home town of Hull.

KIERAN FARRELL – Vicious as he likes to be known is excited at boxing on his first SKY show and is determined to impress against Jason Carr who he has beaten before. Last time was a short notice contest for Carr who had a stone advantage , it will be interesting to see if the preparation helps Carr or if the matched weights helps Farrell who is an exciting one to watch.

JAMIE DICKENS – Jazza makes his debut in his home town of Liverpool on a Stephen Vaughan show , although he is close to inking a promotional deal with the Hattons. The Olympia is close to home for last year’s ABA champion and although nervous he cannot wait to get in the ring.

KEVIN SATCHELL – The recently turned pro hopes to move to 3-0 when he fights on the Olympia event with stable mate Dickens.

VIP GOSSIP – Will be out later this week with news on 3 VIP shows in March and boxer updates.

Still waiting for my tickets from Maloney for the McDonnell bill...the Najah Ali fight sounds vetry nice....better than the Napa fight for me.
