Yeah, in september of 05 he had Wlad in panic mode and floored 3 times. The only thing that kept Wlad from being knocked out was his excessive holding, Peter is the real deal and when he knocks Maskaev out you will change your tune.

Maybe he can KO Maskaev. Although, I am not sure, if Maskaev lands threw Peter's nonexistant defense he could KO him. Peter is pretty slow, maybe Maskaev can outbox him like he did Rahman.

None the less Vitali will surely Ko Peter, and if Vitali gets injured, Virchis would likely KO him.

 

You're kidding right? Maskaev has been KO'd five times, KO'ing him is no great shakes. This ten days to prepare stuff is BS, McCline only had ten days to prepare for Peter too. Peter couldn't hurt him, but he sure as hell hurt Peter. This Peter overrating is ridiculous. Virchis has the better chin, Chagaev fight, and the better punch. Virchis stops this hype job if they ever meet.

Thats your opinion, first of all Vitali is shot as a fighter he cant even get through training camp let alone a fight.

Watch the Maskaev/Rahman 2 fight again and tell me what punch Rahman was able to land at will especially in the openning round, its the overhand right, hes wide open for it. Peters defense is better than Rahmans, at least Peter uses some form of head movement.

Virchis can not beat a fighter like Peter right now, hes a better boxer and has been in with the better oppenents. Peter is improving with each and every fight, its only a matter of time before he is the best fighter in the world.

 

Absolutly agree. Peter is overrated and actualy protected from guys like Virchis. Instead of fighting guy #1 they found somehow McCline for easy fight, but even hand picked opponent KD Peter 3 times!

Ok. McCline almost beat him but Virchis cannot. Peter's jab is not as potent as you make it out to be, nor is his power, and his chin is clearly not up to snuff. If Virchis, when Virchis lands on Peter he will drop the overrated Nigerian. And please don't make KO'ing Maskaev out to be some huge accomplishment, the man has been stopped FIVE times.

 

Its funny almost all the people who are coming on here hating on Peter are all known Wlad nut huggers on this boxing forum, its like they got something against him for being the last fighter that was able to expose Wlads weak chin.

 

I think Virchis could beat Ibragimov. Ibragimov has been pickign on the gassy Briggs, and the old Holyfield. Chagaev won a very close decsion over Virchis. Peter looks shaky after the McCline fight. I think Vircvhishas a chance vs anyone.

I'd like to see Virchis vs Valuev. Two giants in the ring. IMO, Virchis wins via TKO.

 

Rahman was not landing the overhand right at will, that is pure nonsense. If he had Maskaev would be KO'd, he cannot take a good punch.

Hating on Peter. What because "the most dangerous man in boxing" couldn't stop someone who is supposed to have a bad chin, arguably lost his first fight versus a shot blown up old middle, was knocked silly by someone not known for his power, and has failed to KO anyone worth a damn. Oh yeah we are really hating by pointing out the obvious. The only hater here is you, you point out Klitschko's holding but not Peter's numerous rabbit punches in their fight, nor do you point out his numerous rabbit punches in general, kidney punches and low blows in many of his fights.

Virchis lands that right against Peter and he won't be doing his African rain dance, he will just be KTFO'd.
