Gomez is head and shoulders over Virchis in terms of talent and skills,but Virchis for sure has the edge in firepower.
Virchis ' stamina isnt one of the best out there,but neither is Gomez known for his outstanding stamina.
I think that Gomez will try to avoid any exhanges of punches and cruise to a safety first point decision.
However,Virchis is a bloody dangerous banger.My pick is that Gomez will probably win a point decision or by late tko if........only if he is totally focused and concentrated throughout his entire encounter with the huge Ukranian.
Of course Virchis will be the hunter in this upcomming bout trying to connect with one of his murderous punches.
I wouldnt be surprised to learn that Virchis has knocked the Cuban out within the first few rounds.

What about Virchis vs Hawkins on the undercard of Dimitrenko vs HOffman? Has that fight been called off in the meantime?
