Watched the fight yesterday and it was a very lucky decision for virchis. i didn't actually score it but i fought that sprott did enough. he was faster, showed more acurate punching, better jab and had virchis really hurt at the end of round 5. virchis barely wobbled the not exactly iron jawed englishman. virchis and his "biblical power" are seriously overrated. if some guys is supposed to have exceptional power he should have knocked out sprott and/or francis or ko'd couser before the 5th round.
The english eurosport commentator said at the time - I bet Virchis gets the decision even though he doesn't deserve it. Sprott's had a few of those. Check-out this. I haven't watched this fight in a couple of years, but it was a dull fight. I thought it was close and I didn't have a problem with the decision. Giving the fight to either guy wouldn't have been a robbery really.
