He had more than a couple of good outings. For whatever reason (the location is the obvious guess) he didn't show up at all against Scott. That he tried his utmost to get Scott as a title defense opponent after this loss tells me a lot. I totally agree passiveness cost him at various times and was his Achilles heel.
Very true. And to beat Hill he'd have to be hungry and show aggression. He couldn't set a slow pace and hope to catch up to Hill in the later rounds. Hill could move for the full 12. I don't know about 15, as Hill never had to do it. But, nothing I saw in Hill's prime tells me he lacked stamina. So, I have to go with Hill be decision.
