No, in this age, you cannot ever lose to one body shot if you are a world class fighter, who is always in condition. Hill may not of been in the class of RJJ, but he should never of lost like that.

JC is getting overrated while Virgil is underrated.Hill was always in shape-don't care what yo say-Roy caught him with a monster right to the body.Hill accomplished WAY more then JC ever did in the pros.

I can understand why some people think Conteh gets overrated here but a more consistent and accomplished fighter like Hill doesnt get the same amount of love.

This is a head to head match though...this is a hypothetical about how a fight would pan out between these guys at their very best. There is really no point using past primes performances in the argument.

I dont hesistate to pick Pryor over Tszyu or a middleweight Roy Jones over any version of Hopkins or Fenech over Morales @ 122 (though thats certainly debatable).

Conteh's prime was shorter than Hill's and he was unable to perform at the highest level once he left it...and the story of why is pretty well known, his out of the ring shenanigans and hand troubles for a start.

I think quite clearly though Conteh was far more impressive in his short peak, then Hill ever was in his longer one.

Conteh 10-5 or 8-4..clear cut decision.

As for who is the great fighter at the weight...thats up for debate. But I would certainly side with Hill's long reign personally.

Another pick for Conteh from me. He does much better in these H2H than real life due to how short his absolute peak was. Annoys me how he pissed it away.

Hill wins a comfortable decision. Great technician with grit, athleticism and toughness.

Conteh gets W A Y too much love in these parts. It's a limey thing, right? Everyone has their blind spot.

I don’t think he does, he was obviously a very good fighter, his standing on here is just about right.
Then you look at Yacqui Lopez he’s generally revered on here yet Conteh beat him fighting one handed.
    Strange.
