He's at the point now that he's an annoyance. The guru-like persona he adopts seems as fake as a Rolex you'd buy on a North African beach.

His nonsense throughout the build up to Ward vs Kovalev has taken the biscuit though. He's claimed that Kovalev is a robot who does what he's told in one breath, and that Krusher is a man who listens to nobody in the next one. His embarrassing attempt at playing moral guardian regarding Kovalev's purse made me chuckle, coming from a guy who has a daughter he played no part in bringing up.

If he'd never met a 10 year-old Andre Ward he be just another BS merchant in a bar somewhere in California.

    Well damn said.

The man is as see through as a thinly sealed grocery bag.

The way he pretended to understand Kovalev and bring up his personal life at the final presser, was of someone who certainly does not know nor care for boundaries.

He is in it for the glory, notice he always wants to outshine his boxers and make the interview about him. He has this messiah complex where he believes he is the carrier and Savior of many lost children when like you said he took no interest in his own daughter when he found there was no glory in such rearing.

Wasn't it Abel Sanchez who said Kovalev doesn't listen to his trainer(s)?

All he said was that he thinks Kov should get more money. Fks wrong with that?

The first 2 posts in this thread are brilliant. That bs he pulled at the press conference was a load of garbage. I'm sure maybe he does sympathize with Kovalevs upbrining...but to do it at that particular time is nothing more than a weak attempt at "mind games".

But if he's got under the skin of Team Kovalev as much as he's got under yours, then it's mission accomplished...

Here is the video of Hunter speaking, displaying his cheap crocodile tears towards a willing audience looking up to him like wide eyed children, as if he is some type of mythical guru figure. All the while he affirms to the world that he has seen it all. The sickening gushing and applause at the mere acknowledgement that it was his birthday a week ago only served to encourage his wily and dishonest diatribe.

For we know this speech is nothing more than a desperate attempt to soften Kovalev up and create dissemination within his camp, in an attempt to poison his mind with the doctrine of greed and ungratefulness towards his own trainer and promoter who helped provide him with the platform to get to where he is today.

Let me ask the apologists of this charlatan, did this man care for, when the 40 year old Brand was taking home crumbs and remnants of chicken feed while his boy Ward gripped the golden calf?

This interview shows a man who is riddled with fear, and is thinking of all possible ways to unnerve the opposition as much as they themselves have been unnerved

I can understand how people can perceive what he said as mind games but if that's the case then it can work for or against Kov. He could turn his frustrations and anger into fuel against Ward. It could give him the edge that puts him over the top. However, regardless of what his intentions are, he didn't lie on the man.

Well said Sephiroth!youre dead right,if he truly felt something about underpaying Wards opponents then like you say why wasn't he upset about Brand who was given absolute chicken feed against Ward in his last fight, how do I know about what Brand got paid?simple it was mentioned on the forum at the time and let's just say it discusted a lot of folk with regard to Brands pay day?
