"Seen" that VH is Kahn's new trainer. His reason for leaving Roach was that Freddy wouldn't drop Pac and Chavez as clients.......... :rofl

LOL he isn't dropping Ward. You don't know how to build conclusions correctly do you?

On top of that Ward can now pay him more.

Ward stops Pavlik inside of 11 too.

Yeah, was just having some fun with the idea. I don't see Hunter putting Kahn on equal status as Ward, let alone above him when it comes to training.

Well, this is his fight trainer since turning pro in 2004 according to the article. He is at least experienced at choosing trainers. Not sure it was all GOOD experience though since he seems to have to do it often.

Tbh Khan doesn't need constant babysitting by his 'new trainer'. If he wants to improve on his 'craft' then Virigil can teach/show him the specifics and then Khan can practice them over and over again until it becomes innate.

Khan is fundamentally flawed. He needs to work on himself and bring back Ariza.

Given his propensity to change trainers I think he lays the responsibility on them instead of himself.

He can train more than one fighter.

If he had to choose between Ward and Khan, he would pick Ward as he is more skilled and likely future P4P number 1. Also he has worked with him his whole career, it would be like Ignacio Beristain dropping Juan Manuel Marquez to train James Karkland.

Although Amir Khan could be seen as a challenge to bring a fighter with his skill level currently to Wards level. :think

It's worth mentioning Khan isn't expecting anyone to stop training others and to make him number one priority. He prefers just not having to travel all over the place and spending the odd time here and there with assistant trainers while the main one is away tending to other things.

With Hunter, he's got the comfort of knowing that that his training camp will remain in one place - at Ward's headquarters. He won't have to worry about flying over to other countries. Playing second fiddle to Ward is ok if this is the case.

Why be fair? Just because he had a good run under Roach doesn't mean he should stick with him. I mean, he must be true to his pattern. Brutal KO loss = blame coach and get new one.
