Virgil Hunter not sold on Canelo's power

Hunter is an overated trainer who talks out of his are 99% of the time.

 

I wonder what excuses virgil hunter will come up with once khan gets crushed into oblivion.

 

I agree with Hunter on that. Canelo fought Cotto with a 20+ pound weight advantage. Was hitting Cotto flush but never really wobbled him. Ricardo Torres had Cotto hurt worse. atsch

I think Canelo hits pretty hard, but isn't a devastating puncher like GGG, Kovalev, etc. He also generally has not been able to put his punches together much against good boxer types, and his single shot power has not been enough to stop those types. But it's plenty good enough against Khan's weak chin.

 

For once I agree with Hunter. Although I still think it's enough to KO Khan.

 

Maybe he can take a shot flush on the jaw and find out, the odd motherfvcker.
