Hunter seems to be pretty good though Plus Ward is a very smart fighter and I'm sure that much of that is due to Hunter's influence
Of course, Hunter is the biggest fraud trainer in boxing He found a gold mine in Ward and then like a charlatan milked it with some pseudo wise man personnel who talks in riddles. What other fighter has Hunter made great?
Hunter's not a bad trainer imo, but he's very much a one style trainer and in a lot of cases the fighter in question just can't adapt to that style and trying to do so just makes them look worse. Fighters like Angulo and Mares are just not very adaptable fighters in my view. He's done an ok job with Khan teaching him how to use his speed and range better(with some questionable Wlad-like tactics thrown in for good measure) but it's somewhat hard to judge how well he's really done with him since Khan's matchmaking has been very careful to say the least since getting stopped by Garcia.
Whats the difference between him and the other so called "great" trainers in boxing. Take a guy like Freddy Roach. Besides Pac what other great fighter has he turned out.
