Looks like Gennady still has Ward problems! Abel Sanchez says that GGG moving to 168 after they unify. Given that their last PPVs were the same and near equal gate numbers, 50/50 at 168. This actually benefits GGG has Ward may have a harder time making 168 then he believes. Been at 175 now for 4 solid fights. Ward still needs to beat Sergey in order for this fight to happen. I'd love to see it!!
Ward won't be able to make 168 again imo. As for the fight, great if it happened but there's been too much bull **** from both camps.
I don't really have any interest in seeing this fight, it would be very 1-sided. Canelo vs GGG and Ward vs Kovalev 2 are the fights.

No but I don't think Ward likes fighting with guys his own size. I mean he's a true 175lb fighter, loved being the bigger man at 168 and I don't think he liked facing Kovalev at all let alone fighters at 175 like Beterbiev and Gvozdyk......hence a sudden 168 and bringing up the smaller man in GGG.

No, nonsense. He was clearly undersized against Kovalev and wasn't any bigger than Carl Froch when they fought. He was around 174 against Froch. MWs come in bigger than that. Ward was a true 168 pounder.
the fight will eventually happen, its too lucrative for 2 top fighters with limited commercial success to walk away from.
