Virgil Hunter Says Golovkin Best Friend Told Him Scared Of Ward!

Unless they're talking about Prime Foreman or Tyson then no fighter is going to ever say they're scared of another fighter.

 

I don't see why Virgil would lie about it, he seems like a straight shooter in his interviews.

I agree with the previous poster, I don't think Gennady is afraid to fight Ward whatsoever. I think his handlers are the one's that would rather see him go a different route. They've done a very good job building GGG's hype by having him fight B and C level fighters. They probably view it as a high risk-low reward fight for their guy when in actuality him beating Ward would be so much more impressive than anything he can do at MW. That includes unifying the division.

Ward is a relative featherfist. The only way he could hurt somebody is if they were watching him fight, fell asleep and hit their head when falling over

 

So, Golovkin's best friend told Virgil Hunter, GGG is scared of Ward? Is he really his best friend?
