    :rofl
Ohh **** I almost forgot about that. He better get Ward going on booking fights. Hell at this rate and the backpay he is going to have to get Berto and Khan about 10 more fights each to break even.

hes still getting good work with this brand guy. im sure the really preparation is happening in the gym for his fight with kovalev. best not to get in a huge fight that will take a lot of you any ways .

kovalev is the one in a dangerous fight right now and i hope they realize it. there fighting chilemba who just came off a loss but idc if he just lost this guy can fight and will be kovalevs toughest fight to date.

and a guy like chilemba you know this guy will be ready and in shape cuz he really wants to make a name for him self. you see his emotions after his lost to alvarez i think it was. chilemba prolly thought he had to get a couple wins n earn his way back up again but essentially he didnt get regress with the loss and is in biggest fight career i think he will be 100 percent ready for krusher

I agree Chilemba is a good opponent for Kovalev. Alvarez is more interested in fighting Stevenson at this time anyway.

The truth concerning Shabransky and Cleverly is that HBO is done fronting cash for tuneups. Ward could not afford to fight Shabransky or Cleverly off of HBOs allowance.

sounds like a built in excuse not to fight kovalev, "hbo won't finance endless tuneups" waaaah.

They are financing lesser fighters tuneups for Ward. But the more expensive fighters they cannot afford. Ward has had too many tuneups and he still has one more. As long as the Kovalev fight goes down all is forgiven.

The same Virgil Hunter who used to blackmail prostitutes into favors in trade for not getting violated when he was a parole officer.

    Scumbag should be in Folsom.

    Same way I see it.

None of these will matter in the long run so long as the Kovalev fight comes off.

Good ol' trick of lowballing other fighters and when they refuse yell 'it's a duck!'.
Ward vs Shab would have been a very good fight.

Does the Brand fight actually do anything to prepare Ward for Kovalev? Not in my opinion but I guess they have a plan. I just hope it's not to get a convenient injury in the run up to the Kova fight. Boxing needs that fight to happen.
