Vitali 249.5 - Solis: 247 Official Weigh-in Pics!

In shape solis would be about 215lbs, this fight is going to be a brutal beat down. Over the hill Vitali will win every round and if he really pushes himself he will KO fatty in 2 rounds.

 

That's a bad weight for Solis. His weight is a bit down, but he seems even softer than normal. Looks as though he lost some weight the wrong way. His energy is going to be low.

Not that I gave him much of a chance anyway. I think even if he turned up in his best shape ever, he'd still lose.


Vitali looks just a little bit softer than normal, but he's closing in on 40. So that is to be expected. He still looks very fit though.

Vitali wins by agonizing pummeling.

Really, though. He was 260+ for Austin and probably started camp at 270+.

Me too. I fully expect his corner to throw in the towel, or him to stay in his stool and not come out. I think it will be around 9-10 rounds. Solis does not win any.

 

Solis came in just around what I predicted, 246 is very good for him, 230 will be ideal but he can't go down so much in such a short time. For all of you " intelligent " fans that give Solis no chance against Vitaly, you will be so dissapointed tomorrow. Vitaly's reign is over, Solis is too much of a boxer, too fast and too accurate for Vitaly but I expect a close competitive fight early on as Solis will have some problems trying to figure out the giant's weird and robotic style for the first 3 or 4 rounds but once Solis ( and his trainer ) figure him out he will start connecting him at will. I want to see how will Vitaly react when hit by Solis' fast and accurate flurries. Vitaly will have a very hard time landing clean on Solis cause Solis has a tremendous high guard and on top of that Solis has a tremendous chin, ( never been KO'd or knockdowned in his whole amateur or pro career ), so Vitaly will be very frustrated when he sees that he can't hit Solis clean and that he is getting blasted in the exchanges. Solis wins by decision or by late TKO, it's also very possible that Vitaly quits on him.

 

Vitali looks solid and strong, but it does definitely appear that he is both aging and has a little softness in his midsection.

Being a 6'8 man who is pushing 40, though, and with the level of fitness we've come to expect from the Klitschkos, it's only expected that this would eventually come to pass.

 

I love the apologists for lazy fat pro boxers.

This is not class C high school football, if it were a fat kid losing 14lbs before the season would be ok at best.

Solis has had 4 years to get in shape.....he has not, end of story.

 

If anybody thinks Vitali is not in shape - forget it It's the light that is somewhat different and makes him look a bit on the soft side.

Vitali is going to get the (T)KO in this one. He is totally focussed on knocking Solis out, because he was not capable of doing that in his last two fights. The fight will be hell on earth for Solis.

The West -- definitely the USA -- is in decline. Softies having everything handed to them. Biggest American export right now is entertainment, it seems. That about sums it up.

 

Looking at these two guys, there is no logical way I can see Solis winning. Of course, this is boxing, so you never can say never. Maybe a stray elbow. A clash of heads. Vitalee is cut without the ref seeing it. Ref stops it in the late rounds because of all the blood.....

Is there anyway we can watch this live on the Weeb?

According to Boxrec, that's the lightest Solis has been for 3 years..........but he still looks 20 - 30 pounds overweight.
