Well, he's close to his career low Professional Weight of 246. Not bad for a guy who has been coming in around 270 for his last 8 fights.

 

So by expressing my opinion I am on drugs? No drugs, tomorrow you and everyone else will see what I mean. Geez, what does it take for you guys to comprehend that this is not a bikini nor a Mr. Universe contest, it's about skills, experience, courage and ability. You are all so deeply bothered by Solis' weight and by the way he looks that this is why you can't get past that and don't give him any chance. Wake up !!! :yikes

 

Solis has never said that he doesn't like boxing, what he has said is that he is " not a boxing fan " and that he doesn't follow other boxers. That's the difference!

Also, keep in mind that these Cubans practically box for free in the Cuban amateur system for years, and in order to do that " you have to like boxing ", agree ??? :-(

247 is very impressive for Solis. He was 270 few fights back so this is a huge improvement. I do not want to hear any excuses.

 

**** that, 185 would be excellent for him. He can be the black Cuban Marciano.
