he will be too heavy on his feet and against Vitali that will be huge problem for him. Vitali beats up on heavy-footed heavyweights

In all fairness, Solis does have the wingspan of someone 6'6". He's a very broad and stocky dude. Clearly, he could lose a few more pounds if he wanted to, but 225 doesn't seem very realistic, considering his previous low was only 246 with his high being over 270.

And most other kinds as well.

Vitali is ripped and ready, as always. Same weight, same appearance.

Those who say he looks softer must be seeing something I can see from where I am sitting. Look at his pecs, his abs, and his forearm............Same well conditioned machine, as he always is. even at 39 plus........

    End of story.

Solis has lost alot of weight, and I am encouraged by that.

I still see him getting his ass handed to him in a onesided beating, but he is at least a bit leaner that I expected.

Looking forward to the fight. :good

    It's a moot point, isn't it?

He weighs what he weighs and now it's time to fight.

I agree. I think some posters are thinking of what Wladimir looks like...Wladimir is always even more ripped, slightly more muscle mass than Vitali. But Vitali looks like he always does.

So he has no interest in the sport: i.e. he doesn't like boxing.

As for your question, the answer is no. He could be good at something and still not like doing it. And that seems to be the case with him.

Earlier in the thread they were posting weighin photos of Vitali before his other fights, and he looks the exact same, and his weight is also the same.

And yet he's getting soft. :blood

I guess he is now held to such high standards, that if they even get a hint at a miniscule amount of .005% more bodyfat on him, he's getting soft............LOL

I venture to say if he were to somehow, lose a round against Solis, he'd then be called to retire by the members of this site, cause he's washed up and slipping... due to losing a round.....LOL

Ripped and ready, as he is EVERY single time. The man is now held to extremely high standards, he is so good, and proves it, every single time.

The amatuers were about 10 years ago and even than he was like 230. He's at his lowest weight in about 6 years, not ideal but good enough. If he came in at 270 again, I could understand the reactions.

    :goodYes indeed.

After all this time, some of these guys still don't give Vitali any credit for knowing what he is doing.

    It's amazing to me.
