That's his stance and the way he always fought. He's definitely not trying to mock, in the ring you choose whatever stance you're relaxed with the most as a professional.

Most of the 1980s and 1990s US HWs have never faced a tall fighting, European style boxer until they fought Lewis. The US forehead-to-forehead toe-to-toe infight battling maybe be entertaining but doesn't win fights against tall fighers who can box. We all know how Lewis cleaned up among them.

I'm not saying Vitali is better than Lewis... But Moorer? Witherspoon? Bowe? Please... They'd be outboxed from the outside making them look like complete amateurs.

i like vitali and russian style boxing that he does, good footwork and different types of punches....his footwork is classic soviet stuff

but to the last guy...trust there were tall guys around before...and i don't think moorer would beat....a prime witherspoon maybe could beat him....

but bowe would murder him....overhand rights all day....

i like arreorla but relax man....beating him is like beating alex schulz in the 90's...
it's a good victory but it does not make you joe louis

It's a shame he never got a chance to unify the titles and have a good reign.

VK's a very good fighter. Especially since he's 6-7 and can move around the ring and exhibit boxing skills shows how he's head and shoulders above the rest of today's division (except his bro of course).

But to be honest, while I think he'd be a Top 10 heavy if he fought in other eras, he'd have trouble with middle-of-the-pack contenders like Ron Lyle, or beltholders like Mike Weaver. Vitali-Foreman. How do you think that would play out? Or even Vitali-Jimmy Young?

He's beating up on a ****-****-**** poor division, which is NOT his fault because you can only fight who they put in front of you, but to compare him to Ali or other ATG heavies is ludicrous.

This is a great point. I'd agree with you on all those except Bowe. If we're talking about a prime Bowe with Futch in his corner, I think he could edge Vitali by decision just because he would land his combos much more precisely than a sloppy guy like Arreola.

Schultz was 6"3 220lbs with ZERO punch. Zero footwork too. He was hiding behind a very high guard standing like a statue then punching the odd 1-2 combination form his shoulder with no weight behind it. It was enough to beat a fat, faded version of Foreman (Schulz was robbed) but that loss was his best fight.

You can't compare Schulz to Lewis or Vitali. The only thing they have in common is they are not Americans.

If Bowe was the prototype to destroy the tall, heavy-handed Europeans, then why did Bowe run from Lewis? Lewis KOd Bowe in the amateurs and Bowe ran from him ever since.

Vitali has one akward style but its so effective:lol:...I was very impressed on how he able to negate Arreola attack and take the least amount of punishment. He literally punished my boy Arreola...Props to Vitali for a damn near perfect vicotry.

Yea Hes A Silver Star Athlete going in on guys who cant make it to the Podium. Put him in with a Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson and he looses in speed dept lennox last fight with Vit he was flabby and ready to retire being he beat Iron Mike and felt he accomplished his goal in life lol. But he was much faster and had way better foot movement. Ali was just as big too and he was worlds faster than Vit Platnum fighters hows that for 747s?

A guy got in the ring with Money Mayweather and said hes faster in person than on TV... So I can Understand He very well could be faster when he gets in the ring but man admit it that looks wierd hes in slow motion on tv...I like Vit tho i mean If you like Money Mayweather you have to like the Klitch pure boxing at its finest minimum mistakes Cris was the one too slow on satrday and he lacked technical boxing ability.
