If he fought like that against haye he would get sparked.

One thing I noticed him do against Arreola, and to great effect, was to slip Arreola's punch, then immediately step to his (Vitali's) right and counter Arreola at an angle.

He's a disciplined, skilled fighter. The guy is a pro athlete in the purest form.

I think his fight with Arreola was going to end faster than it did, cause Vitali was landing on Arreola so often. I doubt its due to Vitali's power not being what we thought it was, but rather that he had to move constantly, and didn't have the time to set down on his punches, as he was doing with those who he was KOing, or KDing, repeatedly, like Williams, Johnson, etc.

Haye would lose to Arreola and would have been KO'd in under three rounds Saturday night.

But we'llnever know for sure, since the Hayemaker has a runny shyte in his drawers every time he even contemplates stepping into the ring with ANY Klitschko.

Vitali punches very hard and he fights differently every fight. He fights according to his opponent. You should have seen his as a kick boxer.

That's exactly what he was supposed to do. He'd be an idiot if he didn't sidestep when backed against the ropes.

Lewis "ran" from Tua for 12 rounds and I personally think it was one of his best fights. Lewis got a lot of **** from so-called boxing fans because he put on a boxing clinic and ran instead of trading toe-to-toe with a man like Tua.

Tua is obviously in a different class than Arreola but the comparison still has some merit IMO.

The hands down stuff is NOT mocking nor is it to intimidate opponents.

That's his stance, each fighter chooses the stance he feels most comfortable with. That has been Vitali's stance since he started.

Interestingly, we didn't hear ANYTHING from Haye after Vitali's bout. Usually, after the most recent Klit bouts he was always on the record on Setanta TV or Sky TV saying how he wasn't impressed and how the Klitz just boxed guys who didn't come to win.

How come Haye was so quiet now :lol::lol:

I think that the only one boxer who will beat Vitali without any doubt was Ali, because of his incredible speed and technique. Lennox-Vitali would be 60-40 for Lennox in their primes, mainly because of the Lennox stength. In a fight beetween Tyson and Vitali I cant say that there would be any undedog. Both would have equal chances to me. Tyson is powerful and quick as hell. On the other hand Vitali is powerful too, he is really big and has soild defence - it would be difficult to reach Vitali without counter punch. And about technique - they are both very good technicians. It could go in either way.

    fair post

One question: I was too young to see the Ali fights live, but saw all of his fights later on as I started to have an interest in boxing. He was brilliant, no doubt, but even he was beatable.

It's just my personal opinion, but I think that someone like VK has a chance against each and every boxer in history. He would've been the underdog in some fights though, but to say he would definitely get beaten? I don't know.

VK is unique. I dont want to overrate Ali, but we must remeber that he fought 15 rounds fights and still was quick and accurate. I only think that Ali had everything what is necessary to beat VK. I am not talking about knocking him out, because he was never down, but to win. On the other hand Ali would have problems with Mike Tyson. I dont rate Tyson higher than Ali, no way, but I think that prime Tyson would probably win with prime Ali.

    OK :good
As I said before I dont see underdog in a fight between primes Tyson and Vitali and I see VK as underdog in a fight with Ali. Maybe I am wrong - its just my opinion.

Man these guys are giants living in a heavy weight talent desert, hahaha. Put them in the 70's, 80's, or 90's and they would both have 10 loses, hahaha.

Put them into the 70s and they wouldn't even know what a loss is.

Vitali is great, he's tall enough to get away with leaning straight back though. He knows this I'm sure.
