Prime LL, Tyson, Bowe have a chance to beat him - Is it safe to say that they would be definitely be too much for him? I don't think so. Especially against Iron Mike I would give VK a decent chance to win.

 

If that was the case, why did Bowe literally throw the heavyweight championship belt in the trash can rather than face Lewis? Bowe wanted NO PART of Lewis at ANY stage, but he was happy to fight Holy.

He was pissed at these corrupt alphabet organizations. Besides Holyfield was a bigger fight and much bigger payday. By the time Lewis would have been a big fight,Bowe was already shot!

 

Yeah, Bowe was shot overnight, totally old, and so on.

Bowe is so Riddickulously overrated from his "gangsta" image, it isn't even funny anymore. His prime is claimed to be 5 minutes somewhere inside the last Holyfield fight (probably the accumulated 6 minutes of round break), but immediately after the bell rang he was so shot that great great Golota could beat him. He ran from Lewis, and Klitschko would have raped him. As simple as that. Look at how competitive Herbie Hide was against Bowe for several rounds, and what a PRIME Klitschko did to him in barely a round and a half. Not the 38 years old grey version that finds ways fighting around all his injuries.

Vitaly-Lennox would be one of the toughest HW fights that could ever be made. Very high level.

To compare, Lennox-Bowe would not. Lennox would dominate Bowe and stop him some time in the middle rounds.

 

:good That looks okey to me! but i`m not sure about Tyson would take a RD against Vitali.. i could see VK frustrate Tyson to much, we all know that if Tysons opponents survive first half of the fight, they have a chance to beat him, and with VKs size, iron chin and power.. i think he could be the first one to stop a prime Tyson in late rounds!

 

A prime Lewis would beat any version Vitali! But a rematch between these two shortly after the first fight or now, Vitali will win!

 

Vitali KO vs all on list except Lennox. Lennox is a draw if it goes 12 rounds.

 

Seeing the arreola fight, changed my perception of a Tyson v Vitali fight. I would favor a young Tyson due to styles, a short guy with speed and head movement that can get inside would do very well, he needs to have his space.

I dont think any of them can beat Vitali on the outside except for Lennox.

Holyfeld, IDK, he is a warrior but I think he might loose a decision.

 

Being honest, I don't remember seeing Vitali handle a pressure fighter this way before. Before he had his injury retirement, he traded and wared with his opponents - which led to his loss with Lewis. Now he sidesteps and punishes while doing so. Looks awkward, but you can't argue with results.

He would deal with Tyson the same way. And while Tyson was FAR superior to Arreola (in all areas, except for chin), I think it would be the only way to defeat the prime Tyson. And Vitali had good chances to pull it off. But if Tyson got inside, his pressure and bombs could KO everybody. Even iron-chinned Vitali. So, even chances against prime Tyson.

Lewis would still be better than both Klitschos, prime for prime, but the margin would not be big.

Of the time of 1984-2009, the top 5 fighters were Lewis, Tyson, Holyfield, and the Klitschkos, IMHO.

 

At the highest level, it's hard to make "definite" predictions, although I would see prime Lewis as favourite, and pre-King Tyson with all his power could have been the kryptonite to Klitschkos eye skills too. But Bowe is not even nearly on that level.

 

Lewis and Tyson beat him for sure. Tyson would use his height to his advantage to get inside Vitali's jab and unload that vicious left hook. Keeping your hands as low as Vitali does against Tyson is not smart.

Bowe and Holyfield would be 50/50 fights for me. A prime Bowe was superb and is miles superior to anyone that Vitali has fought. But he does get hit a lot...close fight.
Logistically it's easy to favour Vitali over Holyfield, but Evander has overcome the odds so many times, I would never rule him out.

Others like Ruddock and Bruno could give him problems, but I'd pick him to beat the rest.

I must say however, the picks by the TS were illogically short. Vitali hasn't KO'd any really good fighters in the first 5 rounds to my knowledge, and you have him KOing nearly all the best fighters of the 90's early!!!
